A wicked father is currently telling the Benue State police the reason behind his poisoning his son to death.

State Water Board, Sunday Ityokyaa, has been arrested by the state
Police Command for allegedly poisoning his seven-year-old son to death.

Nigeria’s Vice President, Namadi Sambo was on Monday, March 9, held hostage by a group of thugs claiming allegiance to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Paracetamol Regular use of drug could lead to heart attack and stomach ulcer
According to a study published in the Annals of the Rheumatic
Diseases journal, patients prescribed high doses of paracetamol for long
periods were 63% more likely to die unexpectedly.

The National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said that the regular use of painkillers especially, paracetamols could lead to heart attacks, stroke and early death, The Guardian reports.
According to a study published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases journal, patients prescribed high doses of the painkiller for long periods were 63% more likely to die unexpectedly.
There
is also a 68% higher chance of having a heart attack or stroke and an
almost 50% greater chance of having a stomach ulcer or bleed.

Top Islamic religious authority in Egypt has warned women against marrying fighters from the Islamic State (ISIS) group.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, the body said such unions would push them into a 'circle of terrorism,' AFP reports.
The state-sponsored body, Dar al-Ifta, which issues rulings based on Sunni
Islamic law, said its call was prompted by ISIS' online attempts to
entice women into marrying its fighters 'through video conferences.'
"Dar al-Ifta warns girls from adhering to these calls that go against Shariah," the religious body said in a Wednesday statement, referencing Islamic law.
It added that heeding ISIS' calls would push these women into "the circle of extremism and terrorism through illegitimate marriages that neither please Allah or his prophet."
ISIS' online recruitment targeting young people is now troubling governments around the world.

Fuel scarcity FG says petrol shortage will end soon
Okonjo-Iweala also added that the Federal Government has been meeting
with the petrol marketers for the past 10 days and has agreed to pay the
N30 billion it owes them.
The Federal Government has said that the fuel scarcity currently plaguing the country will end at the weekend.
This was disclosed on Wednesday, March 4, by the Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
Okonjo-Iweala gave the assurance after a meeting with stakeholders from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, (PPPRA) as well as oil marketers and depot owners.
“In
the next few days, the queues will dissipate, the situation will be
addressed and everything will return to normal. At the Federal Executive
Council meeting today (yesterday), the issue was discussed in terms of
pushing forward and making sure things get back to normal,” the minister said.

also added that the FG has been meeting with marketers for the past 10
days and has agreed to pay the N30 billion it owes them.

A native doctor has been nabbed after he duped a 70 year old woman who wanted him to make love potion for her.
A traditional medicine practitioner popularly called 'Babalawo',
Akin Babalola, has been arrested by the Igando Police Division, Lagos,
for allegedly defrauding a 70 year old woman to the tune of N500,000.
The
48 year old suspect who is from Ogun State, however claimed his
innocence and tried to absolve himself of blame by saying the woman
wanted him to do a love charm for her to win back her husband but he
refused to make the potion the potion which he claims could lead to the
death of the woman's estranged husband.

A very dumb criminal in Ohio, USA, Andrew Marcum, has helped the police to get him arrested when he commented on his wanted photograph that was posted on Facebook by the police.
The 21-year-old was declared wanted by the police for safe cracking and a laundry list of serious charges.
The police were not exactly sure where he was and appealed to the public for help.
A
few hours after, the sheriff’s office posted his photo on Facebook and
Marcum, trying to evade the law, thought it would be a great idea to
comment under his own photo.
